FAQ

1. What can I have altered?

Almost anything clothing related, including repairs, zipper replacements, hems, etc. Older or stretched out clothing can be a challenge due to its condition. I also repair many items including clothes, pillows, cushions, curtains, and more.

2. What items can't be worked on?

I don't work on fur or leather as it requires an industrial sewing machine. I'm working on that.

Additionally, I don't work on undergarments except slips.

3. Why can't I find pricing on your website?

Everything I do is custom work. It's too difficult to give a price on something I haven't seen.

4. Why do  you hate cats?

I don't hate cats. I think they're pretty cool. Sadly, I have hideous allergies. The last time I accidentally worked on something from a cat home, I was in bed for three days and couldn't breathe. I'm okay with most dogs.

5. Where are you located?

My shop is at 51 Tokarcik Lane, Brockway, PA.

6. How long does it take to have something altered?

I generally work on a 2 week schedule. Wedding gowns take longer, usually 4 weeks. I set an appointment at the tome of fitting, so we can find something that works for you.

7. Will you come to my home?

Generally, the answer is no. My tools are in my shop and lugging them around isn't an option.

8. What if I can't book online?

You can always request through Yelp or Google. I'm always available by email or phone. 828-620-2479

9. What  if I need something tomorrow?

I'll try to accommodate you as best I can, according to my schedule. RUsh jobs carry a $50 or $25 fee, depending on the time frame.

10. Do you charge for consultations?

No. The exception is if I spend time consulting on items I won't or can't alter.

​

11. Can I bring more than one item at a time?

Absolutely! I have many clients who bring multiple items. There is no limit.
